According to the game provider Pragmatic Play, the apocalypse is upon us, and they’re painting quite a picture of it in Wild Walker video slot. Or maybe, it’s just Halloween that gave the studio the idea to release a zombie-themed slot. Nonetheless, it’s the provider’s vision that enables them to challenge online slots’ status quo.

Indeed, Wild Walker offers a progressive game grid. And one that’ll see zombies jump all over the interface as player’s capture creatures to increase the number of reels progressively in the free spins bonus. But more importantly, trigger more free spins as they’re in for a chance at collecting big wins as various colossal sticky wilds fill up the game’s first reels.

With a maximum potential win worth up to 4,900x stake, Wild Walker video slot has everything to appeal to fans of apocalyptic theme games. But let’s see what other features this beast offers.

Wild Walker – Bonus Feature

In Wild Walker, both the main game and the free spins deliver a fair amount of action. For instance, every spin in the base game offers the roaming wilds feature. So, in other words, every round will see a stacked wild walker appear and vanish from the play area. And this symbol can appear anywhere on the reels.

But the game’s real action will start only after 3+ Bonus symbols appear on the interface.

Now in this slot, more Scatters don’t increase the number of free spins you’ll play. However, if 4 Scatters trigger the bonus. You’ll start on the second tier of the feature. In other words, instead of playing 8 free spins on a 5×3 grid. You’ll play on a 6×5 grid where the first reels will host a stacked wild zombie symbol. To activate the remaining 2 levels, you’ll need 6 more scatters, so 3 per tier.

Symbols and Scatters

Now that you know that the bonus symbol triggers the multi-tier free spins with roaming wilds. You might want to learn more about the various levels.

To sum up, the first tier is played on a 5×3 grid with no held wild zombies. But, after collecting 3 more bonus symbols, you’ll receive 2 additional free spins, and you’ll play on a 6×3 grid. The third tier means you’ll get 2 wild stacked zombies on the first 2 reels as the play area shift from 6×3 to 7×3. The fourth level is the final one. And if you reach it, you would have played 14 free spins. For the last part, you’ll play on an 8×3 grid. And 3 stacked wild zombies will cover the first 3 reels.

But the final stage still gives you the chance to win more free spins (limitless) even if there no wild walkers to capture.

Our thoughts on Wild Walker

This online game of chances comes hot on the heels of Star Bounty, which also boasted stellar graphics. And in a way, it revolutionized Pragmatic Play’s game portfolio. Yet, it seems that Wild Walker pushes the envelope even further, although its max win is not as impressive.

Nonetheless, the well-fitted soundtrack and slot’s mechanics work hand in hand to deliver an immersive experience. Without a doubt, this slot is one of the best Halloween-themed games of 2020. It’s mesmerizing that Pragmatic Play invested this much time to conceptualize a game for a 1-day event. But because the game boasts a unique math model, it could be a great bet when Halloween is over.

After all, many people love to have a chance to save the world. And this slot gives you a chance to be a hero plus a shot at pocketing good payouts. So, give it a try.
