If you get a familiar feeling when starting up the video slot Wild Pops? It’s because of its part of the Pops series, including so far PopRock, and now Wild Pops. Yet, there are some nominators that define them both as individuals. But back on point, as this review is all about the latest addition, Wild Pops. That finds its inspiration somewhere between a modern Asian theme and a manga turn-based card game. Further enforced by the 33,614 ways to win on 5-reels and rows that expand all the way up from 3 up to 7, when the wins keep on coming. Meaning, as soon as the avalanche style mechanics kick-of the action is non-stop. But to really pump up the adrenaline, this video slot pays both ways with a max win of £547,050.

Wild Pops video slot – Bonus Feature
The core bonus feature in Wild Pops is the three-step gamification that kicks into its fullest when it expands to its maximum of 7 rows. To explain, when a win presents on the game grid. The rows with a win expand by 1 from the 3-row starting point. As a result, when all rows have fully extended to 7, the 33,614 ways to win follows. But it’s also accompanied by 3 extra free spins or re-spins. Meaning, you essentially have “3 extra lives” that depletes one by one if no win appears. Also included in the base game are bonus features like a multiplier and random wilds. Explained further in the next subject, symbols, and scatters.
Symbols and Scatters
We already know the benefit of hitting a winning streak. Though, as the symbols keep forming a winning combination. More precisely, if this happens 3 times in a row, 2 random wilds will pop up in any of the empty tile spaces previously occupied by the symbols part of the win. But what’s more, this feature triggers every 3 wins (3, 6, 9, and so on). Plus, for every win, an equal number of levels is added to the multiplier meter on the left-hand side. Where if you reach the 7th level 1+ multiplier adds to the winning combination. Other than that, there is a “Super High” paying symbol, resembling a bluish fire entity. Followed by the “High” symbols including a bird, fish, and dragon to mention some of them. Plus the normal low paying ones, represented by the top deck of card symbols.
Our thoughts on Wild Pops
At no surprise, Wild Pops kind of follows its predecessor, PopRock. Yet, the mood is much lighter, and the atmosphere is more of an upbeat experience. As such, there are likely two completely different categories of users on each title, which makes the series so appealing, simply by casting a wide net on the same base play the series will find its particular audience. Moreover, with its expanding rows, wilds, and re-spin, this video slot offers a long-lasting experience versus the bet amount. And even if the volatility reports as high, we believe that this video slot is going to reach the broader online casino player base. All in all, an excellent addition to the Pops series.
