Troll Hunters 2 video slot – Bonus Feature
If you’ve enjoyed following Borghild, Ylva, and Astrid in Troll Hunters since 2013, the chances are high you’ll enjoy this slot too. But if you’ve not played the original game and want to discover Troll Hunters 2 after reading this review. Well, consider taking a few seconds to familiarise yourself with the play area before placing your first wager, especially with the 3-part meter which adds multipliers onto the reels when completing 1+ segment.
The multiplier you’ll get, of course, depends on the number of sections you’ll complete. But keep in mind that the biggest one (5x) is offered to those who’ll fill up the 3 sections. The multiplier the shield awards works independently from the one you’ll get with consecutive wins.
Also, look behind the reel where you’ll see the word Bonus. Sure, the wording will move as you spin. However, it is critical to unlocking the free spins.
Symbols and Scatters
As you read above, in Troll Hunters 2 there no Scatters as such. So, to activate the free spins, you’ll need to clear the row where the word bonus is written. After that, you’ll have the option to pick one of the 3 features that follow.
Astrid’s free spins bonus is the one that gives you the most rounds. Indeed, picking the blond warrior will instantly activate 9 free spins where a colossal wild (2×2 troll symbol) will appear on the reels once the shield meter is full.
Borghild’s bonus, on the other hand, awards fewer free spins, 7. However, the colossal troll wild symbol always comes with a 2x win multiplier. Lastly, Ylva’s 5 free spins bonus offers the biggest colossal win multiplier (3x).
On a final note, the indicated number of free rounds don’t take into account the 2 win spins completing the shield meter awards.
Our thoughts on this video slot
Troll Hunters 2 video slot is an excellent example of a game with a solid narrative. As the game provider admitted when launching the sequel, they’ve kept the essence of the original gameplay. However, they’ve added a new dimension which gives players more choices. Play’n GO loves to conceptualize games with strong female characters, and Troll Hunters 2 video slot is just another example of the studios’ commitment to diversity.
Lastly, if you enjoy playing slots with female heroines, why not take a look at Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena video slot?
We’ve recently reviewed it. And it too introduces a new icon to Play’n GO’s arsenal of female legends. Plus, it’s also playable with a casino bonus in most operators mentioned on casinoservice.org/uk/.
