It seems that Quickspin has found its groove with the sevens high ultra video slot. Although, it’s no secret that we have a sequel on our hands. Or perhaps remastered is the better word to apply to this “new” title. And if you were wondering, the original idea was simply named Sevens High. But back to the new and improved version. That still includes the all players alike approved and loved feature, re-spin. Plus, also the popular free spins option. Yet, the most exciting function is the player option between volatility. Or in other words, when “ultra” is active, the volatility rises to high. While the “normal mode takes you back to the original and medium setting. And this affects the return to player (RTP) as well, Ultra, 96.06%. And standard, or classic, if you prefer, comes in at 96.54%. Moreover, ultra mode also activates more scatters and higher-paying symbols.

Sevens High Ultra video slot – Bonus Feature
The main bonus feature in the Sevens High Ultra video slot is as classic as the look of the game, yes, free spins. However, as there is the ultra selection, it works on two different levels. To explain, if playing in classic or Ultra mode, any three scatter will launch the free spins. So let’s start with the classic way, where 3 scatter grants you 10 free spins and 3x your bet size as a win. Now, any 3 more scatters during the bonus game grants you 10+ free spins. This leads us to Ultra mode; for that, let’s start from the top in Sevens High Ultra.
Ultra free spins
It still uses the same trigger, scatters, yet a bit more exciting. For instance, 3, 4, or 5 scatter gives 3x, 10x, and 500x the bet as a win. Moreover, the explained order of scatters also rewards 10, 15, and finally 35 free spins. Additionally, the same explained numbers of scatter during the Ultra free spins session adds 10, 15, and, of course, 35 extra free spins. And given if there is no super fancy mechanics and features in Sevens High Ultra, you can’t really fault it on anything either.
Side note about the bonus feature
We like to mention the re-spin feature and its activation. In essence, any win activates the “wild meter” on the left-hand side. Wherever 2nd win turns a colour of 7’s wild and grants 2+ free spins, and this is as follows. 2nd win turns blue 7 wild, 4th win transforms green 7s to wild. And the 6th consecutive win will make sure all red 7’s are wild. Yet, remember, the wild status only remains as long as re-spins are going on the game grid.
Symbols and Scatters
When it comes to the classics. And even down to its modernization, it wouldn’t be complete without what all players want to see. And so is the case in Sevens High Ultra. Where the top segment represents the wild 7’s, blue, green, and red. Plus, regular wilds wrote on a gold plack. They are followed by the “regular” 7’s blue, green, and red, naturally. But also included in the midsection is the golden bell. Additionally, we also have the even more used star, cherries, orange, lemon, and plum as the lower-paying symbols.
The real spin experience of Sevens High Ultra
A somewhat slow start that had to build up some momentum before we finally hit a decent £3.43 win. Which happened around spin 30; we hit many re-spins and smaller wins, yet nothing massive. And that seemed to be our luck that day. We even managed to fill the seven high meter a couple of times, which completely removed all the 7’s on the game grid, just our luck, we guess. Although at spin 69, we finally got some free spins action, we landed a relatively great win of £35.80. And when the 100 £1 spins concluded, we had a -0.13% balance. Which for what you stake is outstanding spin value.
Our thoughts on Sevens High Ultra video slot
Even if we didn’t go for the ultra mode when we conducted the spin experience, we still got excellent value for the time spent on the reels. And don’t mistake Sevens High Ultra video slot with a cheap knock-off that doesn’t deliver. In fact, this title is already on its way to place itself as a top-10 contender in the genre. Yes, you will find similar-looking and mechanical tuned video slots. Nevertheless, the UK market can’t get enough of classics, fruits, and modern adaptation video slots. As such, we see a bright future for Sevens High Ultra, especially as there is a volatility choice included. Now, here is the difficult choice, are you going to stick to your regular classic title or are you ready to switch to something more modern like Sevens High Ultra?
