The mood sets with the introduction trailer, too, Rich Wilde and the Wandering City, and are a good indication of the work that has gone into the title, indeed. But, in reality, how good is the continuation of the adventure-hungry explorer? Well, on an information sheet basis, it looks like a winner. Or what do you think when we mention that the title has a return to player (RTP) of 96.20%, 10,000x max win, and a 9/10 high volatility. But also, such things like 5-reel, 3-rows on a 243-win way system. Plus, the regular or expected free spins game with expanding symbols. Or what the industry calls the “Book of mechanics”. Moreover, at this time, we are also following Mr.Wilde to a brand new location, the Wandering City. A city neatly tucked away in a valley in the Andes. So, the question is: are you ready for another adventure?

Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot – Bonus Feature

Wild scatter (diamond in a gold frame) in the quantities of 3 or more launches the free spin bonus game with a random expanding symbol. Moreover, anytime during the free spins game, should 3 scatter once more land, you get awarded 10+ tries. And this re-triggering of free spins can happen up to 5 times. In other words, the initial 10 free spins can prove to end up with a complete bonus round of 60 free spins when luck is on your side. The new inclusion to Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot is the multiplier on reels 2, 3, and 4. Present both in the base and bonus game. Basically, the multipliers on the reels are 2x and multiply with each other if more than one multiplier adds to a winning combination.

Side note about the bonus feature

Move along, not that much to see here. In fact, we already talked about all the inclusions in Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot. So, let’s just get behind the curtains and see what the symbols look like in the continuation in the saga.

Symbols and Scatters

The symbols in Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot rolls in as expected. Meaning, of course, we will see such things as Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10 and 9. And true to the geographic location and to follow the theme. From the bottom of the higher paying symbols, we naturally will find a golden dagger, a golden figure, a skull with a golden headdress. And this is, as wanted, followed up with the protagonist symbol and the scatter wild symbol. That’s it; the only non really mentioned “symbol” is the randomly picked expanding symbol during the free spins. All, chosen from the complete inclusion, except the scatter wild symbol.

The real spin experience of Rich Wilde and the Wandering City

Rich Wilde and the Wandering City, go and explore and get us the big win, are the wishes. But how well did we fair in this adventure, really? As standard, we first set the bet level to £1 on our 100 real test spins. And to be honest, we had a spectacular ride on the reels. With a lot of ups and downs. But on spin 80, we hit the free spins and won the Queen symbol as the expanding one. Seemingly the correct symbol to get, as we ended the 10 free spins with a £97.80 win, wow. Also, we need to mention that 3 reels with 2x multipliers made a difference in how the “book of” title plays out. So, in the end, we saw a positive account balance. And we would say that Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot adds to the series.

Our thoughts on Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot

All in all, comparing the original and the latest Rich Wilde and the Wandering City video slot. It’s all exceptionally familiar, but the active multiplier gives that little extra to put them aside from each other. And if we would use a word to explain the new edition, it would probably be something like subtle. Leading us to believe, Play’n GO has gone for a platform that speaks to many. But now you have even more themes to pick from when you follow the adventurer across the globe. Now, even if we usually don’t grade video slots from the different providers, we like to give a firm 9 out of 10 for this video slot and the continuation to the overall series.
