Without a doubt, Pop is a game that was much anticipated by the online gambling community. Indeed, it’s the third installment in Big Time Gaming’s range to boast a mini-grid that packs a punch since aligning the right combination on the 4×4 play area could see you win just over 66,000x your stake.
Unlike the other games of the range, Pop doesn’t boast a sweet treat theme. In fact, for this release, Big Time Gaming opted to take players to a shore Pier with all the bells and whistles they typically have. So, in the background, there’s a doughnut shop, a Ferris wheel. And a lovely sunset adds a bit of magic to the scene.
But in all honesty, the real magic of this slot will unfold once you start setting the reels in motion. Because just like a funfair, Pop may give you big sensations as you spin.

Pop video slot – Bonus Feature
To sum up, Pop video slot mostly banks on chain reaction or tumbling reels to get your heart pumping. Yet, don’t think for a second that this game boasts a traditional avalanche style gameplay. In fact, the tumbles are bi-directional. This means that low-value symbols such as A, K, Q, J, 10 will move downwards. And the high-value balloons will rise onto the grid, just like any helium balloon would move towards the sky when cut loose.
But rising or descending symbols, it’s worth knowing that you’ll need to match 3 identical ones to win. And, of course, for new symbols to appear and fill in the gaps, the vanishing symbols (except for the BTG logo) left behind. This is because the BTG logo is the Scatter. And when 3 or more show up in view, it’s 12 free spins with persisting and increasing win multipliers you’ll play next.
Symbols and Scatters
While in the above paragraph, we briefly describe how some symbols ascend and other decent on the grid.
And we also talked about the number of Scatters required to trigger the free spins. We feel there are still a few clarifications we could add to explain how the bonus plays out. This is because the free spin bonus grid is unique, and each game tile or the 16 positions the 4×4 grid boast has a multiplier attached that’s persistent. Initially, it’s the BTG logo that’ll reveal the multiplier values. And landing a balloon or wild win on a multiplier tile will increase its value by 1, 2, or 3 randomly.
In case you wondered, the wild symbol is a rainbow balloon. The Scatter is the BTG logo, and if 3 more show up on the reels in the bonus, it’s 5 extra free spins you’ll get.
Our thoughts on Pop video slot
Without a doubt, Pop video slot was conceptualized with the savviest players’ segment in mind. Indeed, this highly volatile game lets gamblers focus on the reels’ action without too much razzle and dazzle. This means that the gameplay is straightforward. Yet, because Pop Video Slot boasts a high hit frequency of 32.98%, it’s very engaging.
Lastly, most operators will enable you to play this game with bonus funds, in case you wondered.
