Ever since Play’n GO set up shop at the beginning of the millennium, they’ve created many masterpieces. And their May 2019 release is no different. In fact, the game transports players at the heart of a jeweller shop where classical music plays and gives Perfect Gems a vintage touch that fits the theme exceptionally well.

But besides the beautiful gemstones that players will have the chance to see on the reels, they’re other things that make this game stand out. Indeed, Perfect Gems has 2 different reels set, one that spins vertically. And another one that spins horizontally that will always reward multipliers with consecutive wins.

With its dynamic paylines and very high volatility, Perfect Gems appears to be Play’n GO’s answer to the mega ways trademark feature that many games offer nowadays. But is it the case? To find out, you’ll need to read the below review.

Perfect Gems video slot – Bonus Feature

This video slot sure isn’t the first gemstones slot released by Play’n GO. Yet to this day it’s the only game that offers a split symbol feature. In fact, you’ll activate the symbol split every time a symbol on the main game interface matches the one on the top reel (the one that spin horizontally). Let’s put this in perspective to give you a better understanding of the feature.

So, imagine that the first symbol on the horizontal reel is a K. This means that all K symbols on the second vertical reel will split. And consequently will increase the number of ways you can win. Why the second reel you may ask? Well, it’s simple, the first reel cannot be affected by this feature since the top space is for the multiplier index, which will increase with all consecutive win.

Symbols and Scatters

Undoubtedly, the most important symbol in this game is the Perfect Scatter. It’s an easy symbol to spot since its gold and has a diamond in the centre. To sum up, the Perfect Scatter is important because it can reward players up to 27 Free rounds when 6 symbols land on the game interface. But it’s worth knowing that to activate the bonus feature players will only need 3 Perfect Scatter and will play 9 Free Spins. During the bonus feature, the Perfect Scatter isn’t in play. In fact, the spin Scatter symbol replaces it and will award players 2 additional Free rounds every time it appears on the game interface.

Our thoughts on Perfect Gems video slot

Perfect Gems is a well-crafted game and shows that Play’n Go has mastered the art of creating engaging slots. Without a doubt, this game will appeal to savvy casino players with its dynamic paylines and high paytable too. But this game may also pique the curiosity of everyday pleasure seekers given the beautiful graphics that look like crown-jewels. Novice casino players should keep in mind that Perfect Gems video slot is a game with a very high variance. So it’s best to play it with a casino bonus to give players more spin time with one deposit.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to play a Gemstones slot that is less volatile, give Starburst a spin. All and all, this game is a real gem, and regardless of your level of experience in online casinos, there’s a good chance you’ll like it.
