Opal Fruits is Big Time Gaming (BTG) Pre-Summer 2019 release. And so, the timing may explain why the game studio put juicy fruits on centre stage. In fact, Opal Fruits is a fantastic addition to the studio’s portfolio. Indeed, most savvy casino players will know that BTG, generally speaking, create slots with achievements or Megaways. So, it’s genuinely refreshing to see how they’ve updated a classic fruit machine and still gave it a unique twist. But this time around without complicating things too much. And yet still offer astronomic winning opportunities for players.

All and all, Opal Fruits is a game that stands out because of its higher than average RTP at 96.75%. Plus, this game also offers 5,625 ways to win on triple action and progressive reels. And let’s not forget the huge multipliers that possibly make this game one of the most rewarding slots in the providers’ library.

Opal Fruits – Bonus Feature

Ever since Opal Fruits went live, social media is buzzing with big wins. And most of the big wins happen in the Free Spins bonus and after players spelt FREE with the Scatter symbols. To sum up, the Free Spins bonus will initially award players 10 Free rounds. And during the feature, players will have access to unlimited multipliers. In fact, the multiplier will increase by 1 with every win, or chain reaction if you prefer. And since this is an avalanche game, it essentially awards a Re-Spin after any win. So, there’s a lot of value up for grabs.

What’s more, is that during the bonus it’s also possible to win additional rounds. Indeed, every time the multiplier factor reaches 10x, players will receive an extra 5 Free Spins. And so it feels that BTG developed this slot too keep a winning streak lasting a very long time.

Symbols and Scatters

There a total of 14 symbols in play in Opal Fruits video slot. First, there’s the wild multiplier, which is a colourful orb. Second there the 3 Scatter (F.R.E) which will help you spell the word FREE to trigger the bonus described above.

The best-paying symbols are naturally the fruits (melon, grape, plum, and pear). These symbols will reward you anywhere between 0.8x your stake and up to 50 when 6 align on a payline. The low-value symbols are represented by the Royal suit (A, K, Q, J, 10, 9). You’ll receive between 0.4x and up to 0.6x your stake for a 6-of-a-kind. For a full breakdown of the value of each winning combo, make sure to have a look at the paytable. But remember the value indicated there are not in coins, but in x times stake instead.

Our thoughts on Opal Fruits video slot

Most classic slot enthusiasts will agree that Opal Fruits video slot is actually a revolutionary game. And not only because of its unique reel formation and the triple action it offers. In fact, the unlimited multipliers in the Free Spins bonus make this game stand in a category of its own.

Last but not least, it’s worth knowing that if you manage to trigger the Free Spins with 5+ Scatter, you’ll kick off the Free rounds with a multiplier of 5x or 10x. Because each additional scatter (besides the 4 required to trigger the feature) will increase the multiplier value instead of giving extra rounds. And that’s very unusual and can pay exceptionally well too… See for yourself and set the reels in motion on any brands mentioned on this page.
