One of the most anticipated yearly industry recognition is the EGR B2B Awards. Yet, as this year’s ceremony had social distancing in place, the format took center stage on a somewhat different platform. However, this did not dampen the spirit amongst the nominees and winners. And not only had the organizers streamlined the event for all its participants. But also, some of the shortlisted companies had their own feeds and later posted reaction videos to the wins on different social media platforms. Making the 2020 edition a true virtual affair full with energy and immersive feel. Yet, we are here to find out some of the more successful companies and to find out where the awards went.
The true winner, Red Tiger that broke all barriers and records by topping up its trophy cabinet with 5 wins. As far as the industry has reacted to the virtual format, its all positive feedback. This means that not only were EGR B2B 2020 Awards a big success. As it could also be the way forward for more upcoming events and industry happenings. In the end, there is no discussion of the fact, we all simply need to adapt, adjust, and overcome. Still, nothing can beat the atmosphere an actual in place event brings. So, how the next year’s EGR will conduct, only time will tell, as its all up in the air right now.
