On November 18th, we’ve learned that LeoVegas was dusting off its trophy shelves. And this to add yet another accolade on it. The latest IGA Awards, the King of Mobile play won, is new and tailored for 2020.
Indeed, the Business Continuity Award shines the spotlight on operators who have adapted to the current health crisis. And this either by helping their community or implementing new processes to help their staff adapt to the “new normal.”
To win such distinction was no small feat. The operator had to impress the esteemed panel of judges, which included leaders from companies like Yggdrasil and Play’n GO. But what did LeoVegas do better than other companies to win such a prize?
Well, they focus on safety for everyone who worked from home. Plus, they’ve also acknowledged the challenges (physical or mental) some face, and they came up with bespoke solutions to help.
With many new projects and a constant focus on innovation, the company must keep its troops motivated. This way, the lion brand can stay one step ahead of other online casinos. What’s more, it was also crucial for the King of Mobile Casino to solidify its team’s bonds.
So they came up with ideas such as a dedicated program to assist with mental health. Then they changed their traditional Friday meet and greet for online quizzes. They were also competitions like a cook-off tournament and even slot tournaments. In total, around 500 people joined various activities.
Lastly, LeoVegas also donated over £8,800 (€10,000) to the World Health Organisation. And they provided free lunch to front-line hospital workers too. LeoVegas set the tone when it comes to adapting to the new normal. It’s no wonder the online gambling industry gave them the trophy. Join us in congratulating them.
