If one made a compilation of all the games released in March 2020, they’d be a lot of them. However, Multifly by Yggdrasil would undeniably be amongst the cutest. Indeed, the action of this game transport player deep in a jungle. And where 5 chameleons are waiting patiently to multiply winning combos in the base game.

So in other words, the action of this slot mostly banks on consecutive wins to deliver payouts and action too. Multifly is first and foremost an avalanche style game, which means that every win creates a chain reaction on the reels. And one that could have a snowballing effect and drastically increase your bankroll as the chameleons increase the win multiplier factor after each payout.

But Multifly offers more to players including a huge max win worth 10,000x stake and a generous free spins bonus too. So let’s find out how to activate it.

Multifly video slot – Bonus Feature

Now those among you that are hardcore Yggdrasil fans will be quick to realize that in Multifly, the game provider pioneered a new MultiMAX feature. In fact, it’s hard to miss it since it’s on the loading screen.

But what does it do exactly?

Well, by creating the MultiMAX mechanic, Yggdrasil is capable of increasing the multiplier on a specific reel. And that’s instead of applying it only to a series of winning combo as most slots do nowadays. The benefit of applying the win multiplier to the reels instead of winning combos is, according to Yggdrasil, it can create unbelievable wins because the “Multipliers merge and multiply with each other”.

Plus, the MultiMAX feature also means that a new wilds symbol is added onto the grid every time a winning combo makes the reels’ tumbles. And this feature is accessible in both the free spins and main game.

Symbols and Scatters

There a total of 12 different symbols in play in Multifly video slot. 4 of the 12 symbols are high-value ones. And they’re represented by exotic animals. Then there’s the wild, which is a golden symbol and the Scatter which helps players triggering the feature.

The Scatter symbol is easy to spot since it’s a bright yellow chameleon. And when 3 land in view it’ll automatically activate the free spins feature. The free spins bonus by default gives 10 free rounds. And it’s worth knowing that any multipliers present in the base game interface are automatically transferred on to the bonus spin grid. Now, the best of all is that the multipliers accessible in this game are limitless. And don’t reset after a win sequence is over. So it’s easy to see how the win could quickly add up and transform into life-changing ones.

Our thoughts on Multifly video slot

All and all, it’s hard to fault this slot. But the truth is it could take players a couple of spins to realize just how fantastic this game is. This is because the MultiMAX mechanic completely re-defines how win multiplier works. So, if you play this game, you’d be wise to remember that if per example, 3 identical symbols appear on the first reel, 2 on the second and 2 on the third the multiplier factor will, in fact, be of 12 (3x2x2).

So take this into account if you look at the paytable and find it hard to see value in it. Indeed, Multifly is actually a great bet that gives a lot of value to players. But more importantly, it’s a fun game accessible in most online casinos. And it’s playable by all players, even novice ones who prefer to play with a casino bonus.
