One of Relax Gaming’s rainmakers is the 2019 release Money Train. Yet, after giving the sequel, Money Train 2 a test, the verdict is in, it’s even better than the first edition. First of all, the theme is still geared towards the wild west but in a steampunk way, giving this version an edge. Secondly, the 5-reel, 4-row, and 40-payline base play, but more importantly, the bonus features are brought to a new level of excitement. Where you can unlock 2 additional reels to take your winnings to a potential 50,000 x your bet. Yes, the base play is good. Though, you really do play Money Train 2 for the amazing and plentiful bonus game. So, all aboard, the train is leaving the station, heading to a big win town.

Money Train 2 video slot – Bonus Feature

The first mini-feature is the re-spin, with a hidden agenda, a guaranteed win with an added multiplier. Basically, if 2 bonus symbols (scatter) lands, each scatter reveals a multiplier that increases by 1x on every non-win-spin. That keeps repeating until a win displays, which in return pays out the accumulated multipliers.

Still, the main 3-spin feature is the Money Cart bonus game. By which starts when 3 scatter stops on the reels. Now, during the main feature, there are only “special” symbols in play with unique attributes that stick to the reels after every spin. Yet, they all encompass a different value of multipliers. Plus, the 3 free spins in the bonus feature automatically resets to base value every time a new symbol sticks. Also, if a complete reel is covered with symbols, a new set of reels expand to the right respectively left.

Symbols and Scatters

To be honest, Money Train 2 includes an overload of symbols that transform into “special” ones while in the bonus game. In fact, when summed up, this video slot has 20 symbols for different purposes. Yet, the base function is the same, to add multipliers. Sure we could reveal all its use and what they exactly do. Nevertheless, we are going to leave some for you to discover and read about, in-game.

But some of them are the golden bonus symbol that adds a multiplier from 20x up to 200x. But also the “Reset Plus” symbol and its base role are to add more multiplier, but also to increase your 3 base spin with 1. And the “Payer” that adds a multiplier value, not only to itself but to all visible symbols on the game grid. All in all, you’re going to have loads of fun with this video slot.

Our thoughts on Money Train 2

Yes, it will take a minute or two to familiarise yourself with the symbols and functions. However, it’s worth your time to get it all figured out, as it will add to the overall player experience. In the end, Money Train 2 is all about racking up the multipliers that cap out at 50,000x.

Meaning, no matter the bet level you are comfortable playing on, you could strike it big from one try on Money Train 2 and its Money Cart bonus game. And we have to say; Relax Gaming has done it again. As such, we see no reason why this video slot will not climb to the top in the UK.
