With the release of Mercy of the Gods, NetEnt is inviting all players to visit the promised land and unearth treasures as they discover Egyptian artefacts. And since Mercy of the Gods is a local progressive jackpot slot, the riches you’ll find as you travel back in time could indeed, change your life with a spin, if you’re lucky, that is.

The game interface is stunning and pays tribute to the Egyptian god Isis. You’ll see statues of the dog like god on either side of the reels. Undoubtedly, the level of details you’ll find in this 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 paylines game means that it’s a great addition to NetEnt’s portfolio. Even if the mechanics are somewhat similar to another game they previously release, Divine Fortune. Yet, because the graphics and soundtrack are different, this Egyptian theme slot offers a new adventure as you’ll read below.

Mercy of the Gods video slot – Bonus Feature

In Mercy of the Gods, you’ll find two bonus features. To sum up, the Eye of Ra is your key to unlock the Free Spins. While the feature will only reward you 5 Free rounds with 3 Scatters. It still delivers a good level of action because of the Stacked Wilds and Moving Wilds.

In fact, when 2 wilds appear on top of each other, they’ll expand. Plus, they’ll move downwards as you spin the reels to win more. And naturally, as the wild move across the interface, it’ll trigger a series of Re-Spins. Which means, you can win a lot when you’re lucky even if you initially triggered 5 Free rounds.

The second feature is the gift of wealth. You’ll need 3 bonus symbols to access the game. And to potentially win a jackpot when the right symbols align below the jackpot amounts, just like in Divine Fortune.

Symbols and Scatters

In Mercy of the Gods, you’ll find various Egyptian symbols like a scarab, an eagle, and a sarcophagus. The high paying symbols are easy to spot since they’re a lot more colourful than the royal suit of A, K, Q, J this game also uses.

Our thoughts on Mercy of the Gods video slot

There’s no doubt that if you’ve enjoyed playing Divine Fortune in the past, you’ll appreciate Mercy of the Gods from NetEnt. On first glance, the new game appears to be more or less a copy of the original Greek mythology slot. However, it’s worth knowing that many experts believe that it’s a bit more volatile than the game it takes its inspiration from. And let’s not forget to mention that the RTP and paytable are also a little bit higher in this game too.

So waste no time an embark on your next adventure at any UK casinos online. Who knows what riches you’ll find on your next session? And to give you more playtime, remember to visit our casino bonus section too. They’re many offers to claim so read about them to find one that suits your needs.
