In 2012, Play’n GO invited players to team up with Red Roger to set sail towards a new destination. But as it turns out, the game was so popular 8 years ago that in August 2020, the studio conceptualized Jolly Roger 2. With enhanced gameplay that now sees players activate 4 different bonuses via a pick n’ win feature.
Jolly Roger 2 is indeed a fabulous addition to the studio’s collection. Sure, the graphics are more realistic than before. But more importantly, players can now play this game on the go.
Jolly Roger 2 is a medium variance slot that gives players a chance at collecting wins worth as much as 5,000x their bet. So, in other words, if you spin at a min bet, you could win £1,000. Or if you max bet you could win £500,000. But let’s see what the gameplay has to offer.

Jolly Roger 2 video slot – Bonus Feature
The action will start when 3 Red Roger symbols land on the reels. This will activate a pick n’ win game where matching 3 symbols activate any of the following features.
The instant prize map awards up to 20x stake and may multiply your gains if the compass appears on your screen. If it’s the Bottle of Rum you trigger, you’re in for a wild ride. First, the compass will award you a win multiplier. Then you’ll get one spin. After that, you’ll click on rum bottles to unveil wild reels. The treasure hunt bonus will give you 10 free spins to collect map symbols. As the feature plays, your goal is to reach the X on the map to win extra spins and multipliers. Lastly, the Battle free spins will see you going head to head with a ship of your choosing. And you’ll spin until your lives end.
Symbols and Scatters
In total, there 12 symbols in play in Jolly Roger 2 but not all of them will appear on the reels in the base game. Sure, you’ll often see Scatter bearded pirate and the wild pirate flag. Yet, the treasure map symbol is only present in the Treasure hunt feature described above.
Another symbol you may want to watch out for is the compass. This golden compass can multiplier your win up to 10x in the base game and after playing the instant prize map bonus if you’re lucky.
Other game symbols include jewelry, precious gems, and a treasure chest. The low-pay are the A, K, Q, J, and 10.
