In March 2020, Scientific Games Digital and its partner Red7 are inviting players to travel back in time. And to relive some scenes from the legendary horror and comedy 80’s movies, the Gremlins.

Undeniably, if you’re an ex-genner or one of those who’s always up to watch an older film, well, you’ll immediately be in a familiar setting. The action of this game transports gamblers in Billy’s bedroom where the multiplication of the devilish creature began. And this, after the teen broke the 3 essential rules for keeping his buddy Gizmo cared for.

The slot itself is a great interpretation of the original film. The soundtrack is easily recognizable. Plus, crucial elements in the film’s action or scene are high-value symbols onto the reels. But rest assured, when it comes to the feature they’re modern. And they’re cleverly designed to meet the expectations of today’s players as you’ll discover below.

Gremlins video slot – Bonus Feature

To sum up, just like in the movie, in Gremlins there’s rarely a dull moment. Naturally, it’s easy to see when looking at the features the game provider added in the gameplay.

To start with there’s, the bonus selector which is a pick n’ win feature playable after 3 bonus symbols appearing on the game interface. From there, players will have the chance to activate 3 different free spins mode: Splashing wilds, Gremlin link or Avoid the Sun.

Alternatively, the bonus selector can also award the Gizmo Box hunt bonus. Or the no more cash after midnight which essentially is a board game where multipliers up to 100x are triggerable. The bonus you’ll play is entirely random. And you’ll find out which feature you’ve activated after clicking on the big screen in a theatre where Gremlins are already creating chaos.

Symbols and Scatters

The paytable of Gremlins video slot is certainly on the higher end of the scale. For example, aligning 5 wild Evil Gremlins onto the reels will instantly award 100x stake. Plus, it’s worth knowing that this symbol is both in play in the base game and in some free spins bonus.

Yet, in the Splashing wilds bonus, the green evil wild gremlin symbols will mostly appear stacked as you play 8 free rounds. The same symbol is also in play in the Avoid the Sun free Spins where you’ll play an unlimited number of free rounds and this as long as you have “lives” left. For more information about the features. Well, feel free to have a look at the paytable. There’s a lot of information available at the player’s fingertips simply after clicking on the (?) in the betting control panel.

Our thoughts on Gremlins video slot

In our opinion, Scientific Games and Red7 have really stepped up their games with the release of Gremlins. In fact, they’re so many different side games to play that a session promises to be exceptionally diverse. But with that said it’s best to place small wagers when playing this game. Essentially playing responsibly in combination with claiming a casino bonus could increase your chances of playing all the side games. As big wagers on this slot, of course, does not increase the player’s odds like in other games where bonus bets tip the odds in the players’ favor.

Nonetheless, this game is indeed very engaging. And so if you wanted to give it a spin, as always we’ll remind you that most operators advertised on casinoservice.org/uk offer Scientific Games slots. So, you have a lot of choices of grand casinos to play on.
