The latest game, Foxpot from Microgaming’s content contributing partner, Foxium is blending the tv-show theme and live casino game, all rolled into one. However, don’t expect a live casino presenter to lead you through the journey, as all play locally, similar to a standard video slot. Yet, nothing is “normal” with this video slot or how we should describe it. Basically, it all plays on a 2-way system. First, you have the 4-reels on 1-row. Where the 3 first reels display the symbols, while the last reel houses a 2x or 3x m multiplier. However, the objective is to land the bonus symbols to get access to the jackpot wheel. In essence, this video slot is a new take on the classic video slot set-up with a bonus wheel twist. And to be fair, at first glance it seems a bit lackluster. But, initial thought quickly changed after a spin.

Foxpot video slot – Bonus Feature
The bonus feature is really simple to keep track of. But also easy to understand. First off, the bonus wheel divides into 3 segments; all triggered individually with the number of bonus symbols that land on the reels. To explain, if the bonus symbol lands on reel-1 you get access to the outer part, containing a monetary value, as well as the 3 different jackpots mini, midi, and foxpot. Land 2 bonus symbols and you also include the multiplier part, middle section. Finally, land all 3 bonus symbols on the reels and you get a chance to trigger a re-spin, and the excitement starts all over again. As you can see, extremely easy, but more importantly, fun and good player value. Moreover, during the base game, the reels can nudge to add that extra win or bonus opportunity.
Symbols and Scatters
Naturally, the selection of symbols caters to the classic video slot player segment. Meaning, of course, they included, starting from the bottom the familiar double cherry. And in true classic nature followed with the plum. And yes you guessed it, lemon is the next symbol as we climb on the reward scale. Next, we have the lucky 7. Which comes in 3 different formats, although, a single 7 is still a stand-alone symbol. Then it all breaks up with the watermelon. For only to revert back to the double 7 and finally the triple 7.
Additionally, the 7 symbols can combine in any way to form a winning line. Other than that, the only symbol that remains is the wild, taking on the shape of a fox marked with wild. Plus the bonus one, clearly marked.
Our thoughts on Foxpot video slot
We have to admit; it took us a second to fully appreciate Foxpot video slot. However, after we jumped over the personal and pre-judgment hurdle, we understand entirely where Foxium is going with this video slot. What they quite cleverly have done with Foxpot is to rope in the classic player and the live casino audience and give them a shared platform to play on. Yet, what pushes out the boat is the gamification the experience offers. And for being a “regular” video slot, the immersive feeling is like no other on the market. All in all, Foxpot is a good player value and loads of fun in an exciting but yet calm environment.
