Empire Fortune by Yggdrasil Gaming dominated the headlines in 2018. In fact, this network progressive jackpot slot paid out a whopping £8.5 Million to two lucky players within 13 days. Which means that this slot is extremely popular. So, the jackpot climb rapidly.
But to be frank, the huge progressive jackpot this slot offers is only one of the key factor that contributed to this slot success. Indeed, Empire Fortune is also a great game to play if you enjoy Free Spins bonuses with Multipliers. What’s more, is that the base game of this gemstones theme game can also reward players exceptionally well since the max win is capped at £400,000. And that’s of course, without taking into account the three progressive jackpots which can fall at any time.

Empire Fortune – Bonus Feature
There two main bonuses in Empire Fortune. The first one is, of course, the Free Spins with multipliers. And you’ll love to hear that this game gives you a second chance at triggering the feature when only 2 Joker symbols land in view. In fact, if you happen to miss the Free Spins bonus by one symbol. The game will hold the two Jokers you have for your next spin. And since the Joker symbols can land on all reels, you’ll have a good shot at triggering the feature on your next spin.
Also, keep in mind that the Jokers symbols dictate the number of Free rounds and the multiplier. But it’s worth knowing that you’ll play a minimum of 10 Free Spins with a 2x Multiplier. And play a Maximum of 30 Free rounds with a 10x Multiplier.
Symbols and Scatters
The gold egg is the symbol you’ll need to look out for if you wanted to trigger the Jackpot Wheel where you can win one of the three progressive jackpots or an instant coin win. The egg symbol can land on all reels. And you’ll need a minimum of 3 to access the Jackpot Wheel.
In essence, the number of symbols you’ll get (in the base game) play a key part in the next game. In fact, the wheel has three tiers. And you’ll need to climb them all to collect the biggest jackpot. But keep in mind that you can start on any tiers. So, if you get 3 eggs, you’ll get 1 spin on the bottom level. And if you get 5 eggs, you’ll have one spin on the last level of the wheel. And therefore may have more chances at winning the top prize.
