With the release of Dragon Chase video slot, Quickspin is proving that game-providers can, indeed, innovate without complicating things for the players and the end users. In fact, this June 2019 release is the first game by the studio to offer progressive jackpots. But the best of all is that Dragon Chase video slot is actually available in 2 different formats, with a local progressive jackpot and without. And it’s up to each operator to release the game version they see fit.
Regardless of the game variant players will try, the game’s mechanics are the same. But naturally one offers a bigger prize pool and an extra bonus feature too. So for this review, we’ll focus on the progressive slot. This way if you happen to try the non-progressive game, you’ll know what you’re missing out on.

Dragon Chase video slot – Bonus Feature
To sum up there 2 main bonuses in Dragon Chase. First, there’s the 10 Free Spins feature which is triggerable with the help of 3 Bonus gong symbols. And the good news is that the Free Spins feature is re-triggerable by increment. In fact, whenever 2 Bonus gong symbols land on the game interface players will win an additional 3 Free Rounds. And it’s worth knowing that there no limits to the number of Free Spins players can win.
You’ll activate the second bonus with the help of 3 Jackpot pearl symbols. Your goal in this Free Spins with Re-Spins bonus is to collect all 15 pearls to win one of the jackpots. Initially, you’ll have 3 spins to reach your goal. But each pearl symbols that land in view will trigger a Re-Spin. The bonus will end once all pearls are collected or when the spin counter reaches zero.
Symbols and Scatters
The moving wilds and extra wilds symbols sure add a lot of excitement to the gameplay in both the base game and the Free Spins feature of Dragon Chase video slot. Indeed, randomly, the dragon (on the right-hand side of the reels) will animate itself and will set fire to certain symbols. These symbols will automatically turn wild. But will also remain on the reels and move downwards to leave the game interface as you spin. Sounds familiar?
Our thoughts on Dragon Chase video slot
On first glance, Dragon Chase video slot from Quickspin seems to take its inspiration from 2 other progressive jackpot titles. Indeed, many savvy casino players noticed that the moving wilds and the progressive jackpot features are quite similar to the mechanics of Divine Fortune or Mercy of the Gods by NetEnt. And that’s not really a bad thing. The truth is one game will always have a larger prize pool. And so you’d be wise to check the jackpot sizes before playing any of these slot games.
After all, everyone is looking for great value when they play, and evidently having the option of 3 similar games that offer similar feature but the different prize pool is a great thing. And remember to check our casino bonus section before leaving this site. There’s also a lot of value up for grabs there, so don’t miss out.
