In April 2019 NetEnt unleashed a new band of outlaws. Indeed, the much anticipated Dead or Alive 2 landed in the lobby of many online casinos in Britain. The new western theme, 9 paylines slot, benefited from a significant facelift.

In fact, it’s not just the graphics and animations that were brought into this millennium, but the features too. Unlike its predecessor, Dead or Alive 2 boast with action since it has 3 different Free Spins features. And let’s not forget to mention that NetEnt has also jacked up the max win at a whopping 100,000x a players’ stake.

At this rate, it feels that the new Dead or Alive 2, could see many players win huge amounts, even with small bets. And surely this game makes the online casino managers tremble in their boots. And not because of the outlaw theme but because of the very high exposure.

Dead or Alive 2 – game statistics and other game info

Dead or Alive 2 – Bonus Feature

As we mentioned above, Dead or Alive 2 video slot has 3 different Free Spins feature. Keep in mind that very much like in the original game you’ll possibly need to play many rounds before triggering the bonus. But this is not uncommon for high volatility slots. So, remember to pace your bets and only increase them after a big win when you play with the house money. Well, if you play with a progressive strategy that is.

Here’s a quick recap of the 3 different Free Spins feature and what they’ll give you. First, there’s the Train Heist which offers increasing multipliers up to 16x. Second, there’s the Old Saloon which offers sticky wilds and where all wins are 2x. So it’s more or less the same Free Spins bonus as the original game. And lastly, there’s the high noon bonus that offers wild multipliers and sticky wilds too.

Symbols and Scatters

The Scatter Symbol is perhaps the most important one in Dead or Alive 2 video slot. In fact, after 3 or more land on any reels in the base game, you’ll play 12 Free rounds. Plus, you’ll have the option to pick any of the bonuses we’ve previously described. It’s also worth pointing out that the Scatter is the best-paying symbol in this slot. Now very much like in the original release, the outlaws represent the wilds symbols, and they’re 5 different symbols, but they’re well identified. So you won’t confuse them with other symbols.

Our thoughts on this video slot

Dead or Alive 2 video slot from NetEnt is a significant improvement to the original game. Because the truth is the original release wasn’t the most exciting game to play over a long session. If you remember the features were quite basic and did not even include a quick spin option, but the new one does. So you can activate it. At least, until you trigger the Free Spins bonus which delivers more excitement than ever. Yes, because we all know that when you play Dead or Alive, the biggest win frequently occurs in the Free Spins bonus. And that’s despite the higher than average paytable which also makes it possible to win big in the base game. So why wait? Join the action and win yourself a mighty reward.
