In June, the provider everyone can’t seem to get enough of, Thunderkick, has added another title to its Beat the Beast range. Indeed, Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno is the third game of the series.
To sum up, the new Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno, just like all games of the trilogy puts on center stage a mythological beast. But this time the studio opted to take inspiration from ancient Greece and is taking players at the gates of hell, which are apparently guarded by Hades 3 headed dog, Cerberus.
So this slot is for the brave ones. And not only because of its devilish theme. But also because Thunderkick confirmed that it sits very high on the variance scale. But we all know that top volatility slots mean big sensations and big wins. And in this slot, players could win up to 6,666x their bet. How fitting is that?

Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno video slot – Bonus Feature
Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno video slot offers an excellent progression to its gameplay. This is because the slot is designed to payout exceptionally well in the free spins bonus since it has more paylines (243 instead of 9), of course.
To sum up, the main game’s action mostly banks on stacked wilds to deliver big payouts. In fact, in this slot, the standard wild symbol will always cover an entire reel when it lands in view. And this is valid for the free spins feature and the main game.
Speaking of the free spins bonus, when testing this slot, it took us 167 rounds to get 3 Cerberus symbols to land in view simultaneously. And this instantly awarded us 10 free spins with the possibility to win more rounds in the bonus itself with the same symbol combination.
Symbols and Scatters
As for all slots developed by Thunderkick, Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno video slot to boasts a robust math model. This will be evident when looking at the paytable and seeing that Cerberus’ symbol is both the Wild and the Scatter. So this means that you can kiss goodbye to those potential massive winning combos that don’t happen because a Scatter broke the series. And this to not activate the free spins feature.
In fact, it seems that Thunderkick has understood the frustration of missing out on a win when a Scatter symbol doesn’t fall at the right place. Or when a few are missing to activate the bonus. Granted that it could have been nice if the studio introduced a second chance free spins feature. But maybe we’ll see this in their next Beat the Beast game which takes inspiration from the Mayan or Aztec empire.
Our thoughts on Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno video slot
Without a doubt, Beat The Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno video slot while a compelling game is more suited for the experienced gamblers. And for those who prefer an uncomplicated gameplay. But one that is indeed packed with action.
This is because, unlike its siblings from the same product range, this slot doesn’t have a mystery feature or expanding wins. Nonetheless, this game has the highest RTP of the trilogy. And it’s also playable with a casino bonus.
