On December 21st Rafi Ashkenazi, CEO of Amaya and Rational Group announced the that Guy Templer would assume the role of Chief operating offices as of 1st January 2017. A logical choice some would say as Guy Templer has been Group Director of Business Development and Strategy since 2011. Guy Templer also played a key role in PokerStar re-entry to the US market. His vision as also helped the group to integrate new product to their portfolios such as casino, sports book and Social gaming.
Following the announcement Rafi Ashkenazi, CEO of Amaya said: “Guy has been a key architect of our strategy and our Operational Excellence efforts that are driving our business toward sustainable, diversified growth. His deep knowledge of the company, our customers and our products combined with his industry expertise makes him a vital member of our executive management team.” Following the news, Templer said “ “Rafi and I have a great established working relationship. My renewed focus on the operations side of the business, both core products and new markets, will free Rafi to continue to deliver the strategic gains that we’ve planned for our growing portfolio of brands for 2017 and beyond.”
