The Gambling Compliance award shortlist is official

It’s that time of the year again. The Gambling Compliance is hosting its Awards in London. Although this award is fairly new, it has grown in popularity in the last years. In fact, since the inaugural awards in 2017 the entries have increased by 120%. And it all makes sense, the awards acknowledge excellence in responsible gaming. And responsible gaming is making the headlines last year in the UK.

A team effort

A company’s success is rarely attributed to one single individual. Yet, it takes a strong leader to follow thru and make things happen. Especially when it comes to compliance work in England. And in this year’s award ceremony Hero Gaming (who owns Casino Heroes) grabbed themselves one of the sweetest nominations of all. CEO of the Year. Now, for Tomas to win the trophy, he’ll have to prove to the judges that. First, he’s an exceptional corporate leader. Plus, that he nurtures a positive team culture. And finally that he has ownership of regulatory and technological changes.

The Time, the place, the finalists, and the categories

As we mentioned earlier, the Gambling Compliance awards are growing in popularity. And the increase shows how serious the industry takes the customers safety. In essence, this year’s edition features 93 finalists in 17 different categories. The event will take place May 1st at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, in London. The Tony-nominated actor Stephen Mangan will host the ceremony. And according to the event planners, there will be more than 400 guests from all sectors of the Casino industry.
