It was music to Play’n GO’s (PNG) ears when they learned that, once again, they made an award shortlist. Indeed, the provider stands a great chance of jumping on the podium at the Global Gaming Awards (GGA) ceremony. And this time the developer may walk away with a Digital Product of the Year trophy for their OMNY product.
All and all, the OMNY product is gaining in popularity because it’s a premium server-based gaming solution. In essence, this solution offers players a seamless and yet multi-channel gameplay. So, it’s beneficial to both operators and players. And this win would be incredible for PNG who have already won several accolades this year.
The GGA started 6 years ago. In essence, they recognise the best and strongest performers in the iGaming Industry. The award process started a while ago. In fact, earlier this year, companies could self-nominate themselves to attract the judges’ attention. Then, in March, a panel of experts examined the candidates. Following this, they chose 10 companies for each of the 12 categories. And in August, they contacted the companies who could then make their statements. The judges have already started voting (mid-August). Their top pick will be known on October 14th in the Venetian Ballroom in Las Vegas.
Clearly, PNG will look to bring home the trophy. Especially because the company prides itself on making the most innovative slots. And so, they have become a global game-changer in the industry. Without a doubt, winning an award in Las Vegas would not only be beneficial for their reputation in Europe. But also in America as markets open and PNG may want to position themselves there too. And let’s not forget to mention that it would also recognise their excellent slots, platforms, and tools. So, good luck PNG, you got this.
