The month of March is all about Women. And it’s no surprise to see that Play’n GO (PNG) opened up its wallet and sponsored the 2019 Women in Tech conference (WIT). With this sponsorship PNG not only took a stand for women in tech. But also for equality within iGaming.
In all honesty, it’s no surprise to see the Swedish game provider taking a stand for everyone’s rights. After all, only last month PNG received a trophy at the IGA for the best place to work. And let’s not forget to mention that a couple of years ago, PNG was also nominated for 5 trophies at the Women in Gaming Awards in London.
The 2019 WIT conference held on International Women’s Day broke the previous attendance record. And thanks to PNG’s sponsorship and stand at the event the company gained a lot of exposure! And possibly recruited new talents too!
Following the conference, PNG emphasised their commitment to providing not only excellent games but also a fabulous work environment for those who create them. In fact, they went on record and said. “PNG commits to being an equal and diverse business in the online casino industry. We strive to make sure that everybody is fairly represented in our company. We seek the best, most dedicated talent regardless of background or identity.”
There’s no doubt about it! WIT is growing stronger every year and, of course, creates a lot of traction in media. Indeed, not only is WIT growing, but it also creates great business opportunities to rub elbows with the best in the Tech industry. The 6th edition was no different! Attendees had the chance to hear speakers from companies like NASA and Volvo. With such line-up, it’s no surprise to hear that the tickets for the 2019 WIT conference sold out in a record-breaking 45 seconds!
