The EFDN is an impressive network that joins together pro football clubs, FAs and Leagues from across the continent. Together, they all work towards contributing to society and towards improving CSR. In essence, they aim to showcase that football can be a force for the good.
Currently, the EFDN consists of around 85 members, including Kindred. To sum up, back in early 2019, Kindred sponsored ‘Active Fans’, one of EDFN’s earlier programmes. It was then that they realised that they share many core values and work ethics. This makes the closer partnership a natural move forward.
The CEO of EFDN, Hubert Roves, said that they are “proud to present Kindred as our first commercial Community Partner”. He says that there is a “natural fit” between the companies. Both share a “love for football” and are “leaders in our industry” when it comes to CSR.
All and all, they will work together to develop the social power of football. Plus, they will also promote areas such as fair play, respect, education, diversity and more. Then, in the long-term, they want to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals. They also want other football stakeholders to follow suit.
The two companies believe that their values are the same. Necessarily, this will lead to a very successful partnership. They can share experience and know-how and introduce an anti-match fix programme. Both very much believe in the healing and social power of football, bringing communities together. For both, this looks to be a very positive move.
