This week Microgaming is once again shaking up the industry by inking a deal with GrooveGaming (GG). The deal marks a significant milestone for the content aggregator and, of course, their next-gen expansion strategy.
Microgaming is a giant in the industry. In fact, they distribute games to a huge audience and thanks to this deal they’re further extending their reach in the market too. The Isle of Man company has licenses for brands like Game of Thrones, Tomb Raider, Hellboy, and many others. So it’s no surprise that GG teamed up with them.
To sum up, this deal with GG states that Microgaming will provide over 500 quality slot games. They will also release new games every month. The package will be available in 20 different languages. So, everyone can join in on the fun. GG, on the other hand, is quite new to the gaming industry. They provide a selection of 2,500 video slots and table games to operators. Their product selection includes bingo, scratchcards, lotto, live, multiplayer games and sportsbook too.
Following the news both company release statements to share their happiness about the deal. James Buchanan, director of global operations at Microgaming had this to say. “We are happy to partner with GG. They’ve proved in a very short period of time that they are a force to be reckoned with in the online gaming industry.
Yahale Meltzer, COO at GG was also thrilled about the deal. “The Microgaming games package will help to bring more diversity to our platform. Plus, it will attract new players and will also increase our revenues through increased operator demand. It’s an honour for all the GG team to be working with one of the largest names in the business.”
